Cedars Ghostly Gathering
Sponsored by Milton Preservation and Beautification Society, Inc.
Fall Festival third year scheduled for October 25 at 6 PM. Tour of local cemetary, dinner, scary tales, costumes, etc.A great time was had by all as they celebrated the Fun Night in Milton, Sat. from 6-9pm. This event was sponsored by the Milton Historic Preservation and Beautification Society . As you stepped into the Woman's Club building, you would think you were in a haunted house. Skeletons were jumping and ghostly music playing and fog was stirring around. Inside there were people in costumes..adults and children laughing and talking and having a good time. After the hamburger and hot dog supper, prizes were given to the children in costume. Then there were trips to the cemetery where stories and strange happenings took place...another trip was to a site where an old pirate(whom death would not take) telling a ghostly tale...with an open coffin in the background. This event will take place on the last Saturday of October every year, so it you missed it this year, mark it on your calendar for next year.
