Welcome to the website to make Historic Milton a Better Community.Organizations in MiltonOur Mission is to connect people in the community with the opportunity to volunteer and the ability to better service our community.
Through this site, as well as the public service announcements you see in our local newspapers, brochures, flyers and events, we hope to inspire you and others to make a difference through volunteerism and public service.
Get Involved : Are you looking for ways to make a change in your community, but aren't sure how to get started?
If you are already a volunteer, we commend you! If you are looking to get involved, we encourage you to get started today!
Sometimes, the hardest part of volunteering is finding an opportunity that fits your personality and needs. Look for an organization that works with issues which you feel enthusiastic about.
While most nonprofits are eager to find volunteer help, they have to be careful when selecting the services you may have to offer. If you contact an organization with an offer to volunteer your time, you may be asked to come in for an interview, fill out a volunteer application, or describe your qualifications. This is to insure you are both appropriate for each other.
If you are ready to meet wonderful exciting new friends and learn additional skills as well; please contact any of the organizations below to offer volunteer service, donate goods, time or money.
